You can request deletion of all data associated with your use of the Cooked app. This page explains what data we hold and how to have it permanently removed.

What data we store

Anonymous user ID — a random identifier generated by Firebase Anonymous Authentication. It is not linked to your name, email, or any personal account.
Daily roast quota counters — a small record in Firestore (quotas/{your-id}/days/{date}) tracking how many roasts you have used on a given day. These contain no personal information and entries older than 30 days are deleted automatically.
Photos — photos you submit are processed in memory and never stored on our servers.

Instant self-deletion: uninstall the app

Because the app uses anonymous authentication, your user ID exists only on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently removes the anonymous credential from your device, making it impossible for anyone — including us — to link future usage to the same identity. Any associated quota records in Firestore become orphaned and are purged within 30 days under our standard retention policy.

Request explicit deletion by email

If you would like us to immediately delete your Firestore quota records and revoke your anonymous Firebase Auth account, send an email to atom.devapps@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your anonymous user ID.

How to find your anonymous user ID:

Open the Cooked app on your device.

Tap the ⚙ gear icon in the top-right corner of the camera screen.

Your user ID is shown at the bottom of the Account card. Copy it and paste it into your email.

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.
